Guelph Skating Club – Competitive Director and a Group Program Coordinator

The Guelph Skating Club currently has openings for a Competitive Director and a Group Program Coordinator.

Competitive Director:  Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Competitive Director oversees all competitive programs within the Club and ensures that lessons are carried out by qualified professional coaches and are in compliance with the standards set out by Skate Canada. Working in a management team with the Group Program Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring team collaboration while administering the Club’s vision of a positive training environment for all.

Group Program Coordinator:  Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Group Program Coordinator oversees and ensures that all group programs offered by the Club (PreCanSkate, CanSkate, PrePower, CanPower, Adult and PreStar) are coached by qualified professional coaches and are in compliance with the standards set out by Skate Canada.  Working in a management team with the Competitive Director, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring team collaboration while administering the Club’s vision of a positive training environment for all.

Skate Canada Coldwater & District Figure Skating Club

Coaching opportunity:
The Coldwater & District Figure Skating Club (CDFSC) is currently seeking NCCP Certified Professional Coaches for the 2017 – 2018 season. The club operates out of the Coldwater Community Centre in Coldwater, Ontario from October to the end of March.
CDFSC is a non-profit, volunteer run organization offering complete instructional skating programs and skill development for all skating levels.

Position:
We require a dedicated and enthusiastic team player. The successful applicant must be able to communicate well with skaters, parents, executive members, and fellow coaches.
S/he will ideally be available Monday / Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings, covering stroking, skills, free skate, dance and private lessons throughout the course of these three days.

Position Requirements:
All applicants must submit a copy of their NCCP coaching credentials and CEP status, including a current police background check, current Skate Canada professional membership (in good standing). A first aid certificate would also be an asset.

Innovation Synchronized Skating Team is looking for a Coach

The INNOVATION Synchronized Skating Team from Thorold, Ontario is currently seeking a coach for the 2017/2018 skating season. The position available is within the Adult program. The successful candidate must be energetic, highly motivated and have a strong sense of choreography. The coach must be able to foster a positive training environment through their dedication, organization, and passion for synchronized skating.

Gananoque Skating Club is looking for a coach

The Gananoque Skating Club is actively seeking a certified coach for our STARSkate program for the upcoming 2017/2018 season. We are looking for a higher level coach that is trained in all 3 disciplines (skills, dance, freeskate) and the new STAR 1-5 program.

We invite enthusiastic, dedicated coaches who are confident and able to communicate professionally with skaters, parents, other coaches and the executive board. All applicants must enjoy working with skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Minimum requirements:
NCCP level 1 and 2 (or working on level 2)
Current first aid
Skate Canada member
Current criminal background check
