Grand Prix Gold for Weaver and Poje!

Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, from Waterloo, won gold in Ice Dance at the ISU Grand Prix Final in Barcelona, with a score of 181.14,  after having qualified for the final by way of two gold medal performances at Skate Canada International and the NHK Trophy in Osaka.

Also in Ice Dance, Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier, from Scarborough, finished 5th with a score of 158.16, and had qualified for the ISU Grand Prix Final by way of 2nd place finishes at both Skate Canada International, and the Trophee Eric Bompard qualifying events.

Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford, both from Ontario, but representing Quebec, also won gold in the Pairs competition with a score of 220.72.
