MONCTON, NB: Ontario skaters continue to produce excellent results at the 2012 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, earning five medals in the Junior events.
Katherine Bobak and Ian Beharry of Western Ontario captured the Canadian Championship Title in the Pairs event, while Mary Orr & Anthony Furiano, also of Western Ontario, won bronze.
In Women, Gabrielle Daleman of Central Ontario was named the Canadian Champion.
In the Junior Men’s event, Peter O’Brien of Eastern Ontario won the silver medal while Joel Bond of Northern Ontario won bronze.
In a closely-fought Dance event, Mackenzie Bent & Garrett MacKeen of Eastern Ontario placed fourth – only 0.27 points behind the bronze medal spot.
