MONCTON, NB: The 2012 Novice Champions of Canada were crowned yesterday at the 2012 Canadian Figure Skating Championships. All four champions are from Central Ontario. Anthony Kan won the Novice Men’s title, Madelyn Dunley won the Novice Women’s title, Hayleigh Bell & Alistair Sylvester won the Novice Pairs title, and winning the Novice Dance title were Lauren Collins & Danny Seymour.
Also winning medals were Roman Sadovsky of Central Ontario with the men’s silver medal, Dylan Conway & Dustin Sherriff-Clayton of Central Ontario won the silver in pairs, Samantha Glavine & Jeff Hough of Eastern Ontario take home bronze in dance.
